n-left: 0cm"> ¯                   SUMMER BREAK: Last rehearsal: Tuesday 26th June 2007.

¯                   COMMITTEE MEETING: Monday 23rd April 2007 (venue to be announced).   Any ideas/comments/ suggestions to committee members before this date please.

¯                   SUMMER MEAL: likely to be on Tuesday 10th July. Venue to be announced later.

¯                   AUTUMN FAYRE: Shipley Library, Saturday 6th October 2007, 10.00 – 12.00.  Helpers and goods needed; another very good fundraiser to which we can all contribute.

¯                   CAROL SINGING: Haworth 9th December 2007.  All  voices needed – this is a major income generator!   3.00 p.m. – 5p.m. Carol singing; 5.00 p.m. onwards TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION.

This July our Musical Director will be celebrating his (number-with-a-zero-on-the-endth) birthday and would like to invite all singers to take part in a performance of his REQUIEM at Meanwood Parish Church as part of a liturgical service on Sunday 1st July 2007 (probably).  There will be 2 or 3 rehearsals preceding the event.   Please inform Enid Bennett if you would like to take part.

Money Matters! Those of you who attended the AGM will know that the subscription has been pegged at last year’s figure - £60, and that you will already have received a ‘lucky-dip’ envelope from  John Watmough, describing payment  details.  (If you didn’t, please contact John pronto!).    Please note (taxpayers) that payment of your subscription before 3rd April 2007 will enable John to recover £16.92 from Inland Revenue, immediately. This will be far more valuable in Chorale’s interest-bearing deposit account than Mr Brown’s.

Anyone willing to take on tea/coffee brewing on Tuesday evenings to give Margaret Hardwick a break?

One of the ways of offsetting the increasing cost of producing Concert Programmes is by advertising.   Unfortunately our list of regular advertisers is becoming vanishingly small. Do you know anyone who would like to advertise  in our programmes? Please contact Enid if you do.

AND finally. Audiences for our concerts continue to decline.   Please : keep up the publicity effort; keep selling concert tickets.
